I don't see how the last one got that big of a boat to the lake with that little Durango or whatever it is.

this is why we always try to camp near the boat ramps, the entertainment is well worth the price of the campsites. many times our guts hurt from laughing at the dudes with their $55,000. pickups, $25,000 boats, $10,000 gear (that usually ends up wet), all for a $1.29 fish. maybe 2 out of 10 can back their boat trailers down a ramp without hitting anything, and the bestest was a dude leaving his shoes on the ramp, jumping on the boat trailer, unhooking the boat, and then riding the trailer down into the water with the pickup following. must not of gots it all the way into park? only thing dry that trip was his shoes!

Saw another dope the other day failed to to decided not to tie down the back end of his boat to trailer, been told by people on the ramps those were so unnecessary and took too long to tie down. Well this dope made a panic stop, boat didn’t, ended up sideways to the trailer and torn up fiberglass everywhere. Nose loop held but that destroyed everything else as the winch and nose brace got bent over the boat jumped a fender and landed on the engine tail housing on the pavement.
Dope was standing there scratching his head likely trying to concoct a excuse to his insurer. |
