How big of a concrete pad is required for the "anchorage" point ? What is the biggest "stress" on the anchor point ?

Water comes in at pivot, Corrosion, Erosion from sitting still & dry, while running is only a modest amount of torque on them.

My Mini Pivot, 610' long has a pad about 6'x6'. A few years ago a 120MPH gust blew it halfway over, Had to replace some of the pivot pipe but got it back down level. Make a point to always park it running east and west as the strongest winds seem to come from the west.

Is there a "limit" on how many spans a pivot can have? I drove past a field that had 9 spans (this area has fields a mile + long) and wondered what the limitations were for length. Thanks

The limit on the spans is how much water can you supply to keep crop growing. I have seen a pivot a half mile long, 1750 gallons per minute. But in a dry year it can't pump enough water to keep the crop supplied. You would need about 3000+ gallons per minute to keep up.
