Had sleet yesterday afternoon then an inch of rain. Been dry here and was able to work tiller in garden this afternoon

Snowing here tonight, supposed to get several inches, so far 2+ inches of rain this month too.  Glad I planted alfalfa 6 weeks ago!  Think most of the corn has been planted around here but doubt if any is up yet.

Colder here than a well diggers butt, been in high thirties of a morning to low forties and wet, locals are worried of seed planted not germinating before rots.
