I'm sure this has been gone over in the past but who makes a decent kit for converting my CA to 3 point? I don't want to frankenstein the tractor but 3 point attachments are way easier to find around my area.
Thank you for any help!

....but they don't work as nice as original snap coupler stuff for the tractor. Just saying.

I'm sure they don't, I just need way more options for this thing than I am finding locally or even close to me.

I have a sc to 3-pt adapter on one of my wd's --- looks like a factory adapter and would be easy to make one like it. I can take it off and slap regular db or plow, etc. on in a few mins. sc should be same on both models. mine even has factory look top link bracket.

Get a bunch of those OEM style Wishbone adapters and attach them to each piece of 3pt equipment you get. Otherwise be prepared for many pinched fingers, a sprained back and possibly a hernia.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I made my own for keeping the snap coupler hookup for the drawbar.
I did not have the sway chains in place for these pictures! It works for me! |

I have one of the AC designed type, a heavy one and I’ve tried a few others, both homemade and store bought. I prefer the original. A/C type. Easy to put on or remove and it’s the only one that allows traction booster to work as it was intended. Top link of 3 point goes down to 3 point conversion rather than to tractor. Makes the implement work just like a snap coupler. I can’t tell a difference between a snap coupler plow and 3 point plow with this style hitch. Other people will favor the more solid aftermarket hitches, but I like the original A/C style
Good luck with your decision. |
