Hi All, As I said in an earlier post, when I came to my property in 2005, things were pretty badly run down. This included an equipment shed that I have since restored. It is about 30' X 34' and is post and beam construction. It is probably 100+ years old. As you can see, the roofing and the siding and the doors were in bad shape. There was not really much of a foundation under it and it had sunk and shifted and was way out of square and level.
I jacked it up and tried to level it and square it up and formed and poured footings and foundation all around it. I put a new steel roof on it. I stripped all of the old siding and redid it with 1" X 12" rough milled pine planks. I installed new doors and windows and covered the dirt floor with several inches of granular A gravel. I built a loft with 6" X 6" X 16' hemlock beams and 1" hemlock planks and built stairs to access the loft. It turned out pretty good and should stand for a few more years. I use it to store tractors and implements and other equipment. The loft if full of 'treasures'.
