I think I'll have my 200 shipped to Florida and drive down, ship everything to the bahamas and find a shack on the beach front. If I remember right, the rum and fresh fruit drinks are fantastic. Oh well I guess me and the cat gotta stay warm as best we can for now.

The wife and I have thought for about 2 years the same thing.  Sell the 2 houses we have, cars, furniture, everything, etc. Take the cash, ?, and pack a bag of clothes, and be gone! Jamaica, is one place, But Aruba is better!  Then ya get , St. Lucia, nice but pricey.  Liquidate everything and be gone! Might have a room for you if you want to visit!  So if you don't here from me for a while, I might be havin a drink for ya , come visit!

Aruba!  There's a nice breeze that blows across the island.  It don't matter how hot it gets, it's still comfortable.  And they are out of the Hurricane belt.  I suppose if you could find some dirt and grow some of your own produce it would help, or find recipes for aloe!  I guess you could eat iguana too!

We've been to Nassau a couple of times. Liked it both times. Last time we took the 2 youngest sons as a graduation present. They watched the Gals, we watched the people. Old gal couldn't stand the summer heat in a shack on the beach sand. Some of the apt rent looks very cheep. But its on the "wrong side of the island for old white people" according to the rental agency. Also wouldn't mind going back to Panama for a week or two. But it rains every other hour there. Been there. And then I sit here thinking about drinking some of the best beer in the world. Made in Karlsruhe Germany. Oh well guess I gonna stay here and take care of mom and the family farm.
