Was Gehl taken in by Agco ? I wasn't sure where to put this question. Our former ALLIS dealer pedaled Gehl skid steers and NI spreaders with ORANGE ALLIS tractors/machinery and Gleaner combines, and is now an AGCO dealer (PLEVNA) but didn't know if the parts book would have a section for  the g/m's. Thanks

H&S bought the manure spreaders and grinder mixers from Gehl. All Gehl makes is Construction Equipment.

iirc, a few years back, the company decided to emphasize skid loaders, track loaders, articulated loaders, and asphalt pavers, and discontinued production of most of the agricultural equipment they were known for.
Years ago worked for a neighbor who had a Gehl mixer/grinder, thing worked darn good. During winter months it ground at least 2 full batches every day, with all the dairy calves, and swine farrowing and feeders, remember only 1 bearing going out in the eight years I was there. Usually had an IH 826D on it, grinding oats, and baled hay with the smallest screen for piglet feed had that tractor snorting at times.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Last Grinder Mixer we had was a Gehl 95. We always had Gehl. The first one paid for itself the first year over grinding cost going to mill in town! At that time we milked 45 cows farrowed 60 sows and in between litters we bought 120 feeder pigs plus 450 laying hens. All the D17 did when it wasn't cultivating corn was grind feed.
