This is the first time in 25 years there hasn't been a live beehive in the front yard. The girls are headed for the almond Groves in Southern California. Dropped a truck load of them off this afternoon. Combining them with several other guys on the semi truck. This will be the second or third load this guy has taken out this fall. They are on a semi gonna leave at 1st light tomorrow. We Wound up with 50 hives on the truck. Don't know how many #2 son added to the load. Maybe another 20 or so.

Tom,
Awesome! We need some pictures too! I really enjoy having bees. Well my daughter has them now. Mainly for the honey! Is almond honey good? Never had any. Let me know if you get some I would like to try it.

I won't get any of the honey. They are going out for pollination. If there is any honey, it will be sold out there. Son has contracted with one of the states larger beekeepers to haul them and manage them while they are out there. Beekeeper and his wife get to go out and spend Jan/ Feb/ march there, I think but don't know for sure, rent free. Last year everything he sent out came back busting out with bees. Hoping that happens again. Son wants to split them into another 50 or 60 bee hives. If we get to Hutch this year, I'm gonna have one of these young guys/gals show me how to post pictures on this site.
