Ok just curious on thoughts of the higher prices of corn and beans this fall , they were so cheap before harvest- and seems everyone had a great crop to take to the bins - and the prices get better, usually the prices drop as the bin busting crops all come in , is China and their friends rat holing these commodities ? Just an obsevation,

Dont know but I do know my neighbor sold every bushel right off the combine this year! -- they were going to dry/store but that all changed when they started harvesting and he saw the prices. Corn yield was decent---beans not so good--weather here hurt the yields this year in this area.

The cash price is good especially if you had a good crop this year. Not all of the US has good crops and look at the 10,000,000+ acres they wrote off in Iowa. Also with the world market the other main producing areas are having weather problems. I say with this year anything can happen, at planting time we were wondering if it even payed to plant corn. I would say sell enough for cash and maybe gamble with a little bit or else do the gambling with paper if you like to play that game.
