I saw a clip today of a guy that took a five drawer file cabinet and made a smoker out of it. He cut out the bottoms of the drawers and put expanded metal in place. He had a small chimney in top. A little fire in the bottom drawer for the smoke, and a little damper on the front of the drawer. He pulled out the upper drawers and had some nice looking slabs of meat in each one. Shamles, you in the market for a file cabinet? I thought it was brilliant, and with more computers everyday and the cloud, file cabinets are a dime a dozen.

John...that sounds real interesting! lol. i just bought a file cabinet for my cook shack, but it's gonna have a different job of holding big power tools. they are a great (mouse proof) tool box. wonder how long the metal would last with the fire? oh...and the paint? i too think that's pretty good inginuity!
