 Well,,,,,I do Thank Yee for worryin bout me and the Old Lady,,,,OOOPS,,,I meant,,,The Wife,,,,,Wink

Chit,,Shameless and Chask,,,,I take that back,,,,,Wink Actually,,I'm tryin to get my spirits back as this has been one harrowing week for us,,,,,!!!
 And,,since you DID ask,,,,,,,,Wink
  Well,,,this chapter of the wife fighting almost a constant battle to stay alive started last Thursday when I took her to the Vascular Surgeon as he was gonna "Block Off" the fistula graft as after two attempts to get more blood flow down to her finger tips,,her ring finger now was black to the 2nd knuckle and he told us the only'ist thing left to do was block the Dialysis fistula off and restore total blood flow to the finger tips, then install a cathertor on her right chest for Dialysis access. When he got done,he had a another surgeon look at a red area on her left palm and after doing an EKG (?) ECG(?) they decided she needed an Orthopedic specialist ASAP as the test indicated infection in the palm and she would lose her hand if not managed ASAP,,,,SO,,they air flighted her to Lubbock, Tx that night ( Last Thursday) as soon as the Orthopedic Specialist in Lubbock accepted her case.
 I went home to arrange for sitters for the mutts and some other details. I left for Lubbock Friday morning and they already had her in emergency surgery by the time I got to Lubbock at noon. The surgeon took off her ring finger right at the hand and opened up a BIG hole in her palm and another one on back side of hand as well. The Surgeon told me she had a lot of infection there, so she left the wounds open for a couple of days to observe if any more infection set in and then do a "wash out" on Sunday or Monday morning. She had a terrible night on Friday and Saturday and they finally brought the Surgeon back Saturday after noon thinking they might have to remove her hand to control the infection. THIS WAS SCARY,,,when there ain't a chitting thing you can do except trust in our God,!!!!!! They changed antibiotics and helped to control.
 She was some better Monday mornin, so they decided to send her to Dialysis, ran a bunch more tests and just told to  hold a tight AH,,,,,Surgery was scheduled for Tuesday Am,,but THEN she developed very low O2 in her blood stream so surgery was rescheduled for Thursday Am as Wednesday would be another Dialysis day and they said the Dialysis was more important than the surgery,,,,by this time I am bout to have a chittin cow,,AN due to the corona BS, they would only allow ONE VISITOR per family per patient per 24 hours so no help there,,,,, THEN,,,Wednesday after Dialysis,,her O2 again goes south and after Xrays they find she again has some fluid in her right lung,,!! They take her back to OR and drain almost two quarts of fugly fluid. She seems to be and feel better after this operation.
 They finally do the surgery on Thursday PM as other surgeries took presidense. The Orthopedic Surgeon told me the hand looked real good with no sign of infection after she finished the "wash out" of the 3 wounds, so she closed up the wounds for her part.
 Friday was again Dialysis day,,,BUT,,,,BUT,,,her O2 content then goes to chit and they do several Xrays and find the top part of her right lung has collapsed bout 20%, so they installed a "tube" in her lung to help inflate the lung while feeding her oxygen
 This morning after more Xrays,,they remove the "tube" in lung and her O2 was again at the good range so her Dr approved her discharge,,,,,
 What A Week,,,,!!!!  Think I'm gonna sleep for a few days,,,,I'm gettin to friggin old for this chit,,,,
 UMMMm,,,sorry for the long post,,,,,,Wink

Joe, You and Joyce are in my prayers. I am praying for comfort, for both of you, physical and mental, and for rest. Praying through all of this your relationship with our Lord Jesus would become stronger.
I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 27

Good to hear yous is getting good and rested. I don't think tiny tire wrasslin counts though. I learned long ago you turn them women upside down and they all look pretty much the same, just different colors and intensities. So always go for the kind gentle ones.Wink

Joe, glad to hear you and Joyce are back home and getting some rest. Prayers sent for a complete recovery and no more hospital stays. Just remember our LORD is the Great Physician and we have to trust in Him for our healing.
