What's the big deal ?....
Looks like GREASE from a kitchen drain, being re rendered, then reused....
Anyone with a septic system 'should' have a grease trap before the main tank for ell, um, catching  the grease....
Considering how th Chinese  cook ( lots of fried...) having industrial sized grease traps at each house/restaurant makes sense otherwise the sewage system would be plugged up pretty darn soon ! I'm happy they recycle, especially locally.
BTW Ontario's largest rendring plant is 1 mile upwind of my place, can use 1 million GALLONS of acquifer water a day....

Chinese guy says. "All we can do is accept it, in our current society everybody tries to swindle everybody else."  Oh Really, so honorable, says a lot.

I been watchin the world news and most of the news related to the coronavirus is nausiating at how they prepare their food and even more so WHAT they prepare for food. I realize living conditions force them poor people to eat what they can catch,,,most of the times are what we consider as pets,,,,,???? UGHhhhh
I sure hope something I saw on the news a couple of days ago is that this "germ"  was being tweaked in labs ,,,,by the chinese themselves and like most sitiations,,,if things can go wrong,,there is always somebody close by that will cause a CF,,,,,,,,
What is even more scary is all the news and even  VP Pence  are saying this morning,,, that a vaccine will not be ready for this season,,,!!!??? Surely with all the world's best specialists working on it 24/7,,it would take that long,,,??? triple PFTTttt,,,,,

Testing, regulations, FDA approval(s), liability considerations, obtaining patents (LONG time for that!!!); honestly, a year is FAST nowadays.

I don't think that was grease they were taking out of the sewer manhole!

Yes the virus was created from the animals the people were eating.  These are people of poverty, just like our homeless!  Ever wonder what our homeless eat?  If our poverty level keeps dropping we will be creating our own virus in the not too distant future!

Joe, I knew when people were saying a vaccine was close that they were either ignorant of the facts, or lying.
I am NOT a medical researcher, but I work among them every day, and I worked for a company that produced not only drugs and vaccines, but test kits for many of them. So I know a little about the process.

First, ya need to study the specific organism, then you need to grow it, then you need to develop a vaccine (an educated guess) and then try to kill the bug with your new vaccine. Each of these steps can take weeks, months, or years. and, in the end, when your first proposed vaccine didn't work ( almost a given), then you study the results, develop another vaccine (educated guess) and repeat the process. Remember, each of these cycles takes, if you are lucky 4-6 months. I know I am grossly over simplifying this, but, trust me, it's not an overnight process. It does depend quite a bit on how much previous research has been accomplished on that particular 'Family' of virous because that give the researchers a good basis for their educated guesses

Lou , I'm so darn cynicle, I figure 'they' HAVE vaccines for durn near everything BUT there's NO money in it..gotta drag it out as long as possible, create a HUGE demand, get 1,000s per pill, then oopsy , another 'crisis' comes along....
I see this 'system ' of bilking the public all the time. You do not NEED a new PC, mine's 11 years old(free too). You don't NEED a new phone, old one still works and 2G was OK.... Do you really NEED a 2020 truck ?

Kind makes you want look the label over real good on anything in the grocery store. But I beat there is a lot of labels that don't tell us all we want to know.

The big meat processors didn't want to give up all the money in cheap foreign product. When congress past a bill to make them label Country of Origin, World Court(or what ever it is called) ruled it was to protect US market from competition. So no label on meat in US store to say where it was raised.Congress is looking at Country of Origin Labeling again. Get after the bums in DC and tell them you want it.

Interesting, wasn't too long ago that Big Brother stepped in and said no more need to know the country of origin for the food/meat you buy in the grocery store... Unless it says clearly "PRODUCT OF USA" on the label, we'll go local thankyouverymuch.
