Have a '52 WD for sale.  Here's the story - winter before last it started making very bad sounds when running and was low on oil (used 3-4 quarts in about 30 minutes).  I bought another WD locally that was minus about everything and switched a lot of stuff over.  So here's what I'm offering for sale.  Scrap yard gets it in a week if no interest.

WD engine (complete, but broken internally somewhere)
Missing carb, generator/alternator
Frame (engine still mounted)
Tranny except shift lever
Rear wheels (both are bad with bad tires)
One front wheel with bad tire

Missing seat, fuel tank, fenders, hydraulic pump, and throttle mechanism

Can take pics if anyone is interested.

Located in central Iowa just north of I-80.  Will help load but can't haul.

Scott,

Are you going to sell any parts off the tractor before you scrap it?

If nothing else, Scott, you should strongly consider pulling absolutely every part you can off that tractor before scrapping it.

The last I heard, they aren't making these parts any more. Once they've been melted down in China, those parts are gone for good.

Someone out there needs, or will need those parts. Please consider pulling everything you can, and throw them in a box, or list them on ebay or craigslist.

Sounds like a good idea.  What do you need?
