I have found a 2 bottom plow that would fit my D 14 I don't really need it as I have 3 point plows to use but just like to have it for my 14 the plow seems to be in good shape but the hitch that fits in the snap couple bell is gone. How hard to find one of these and do they just bolt on.
I thank you for your comments on this post. Again thanks Rodd |

Usually you can find one on eBay. One is listed down, but a little high at $34.95.

Always helps to post a picture in case there's something odd about the implement. But you should be able to put a two-bottom plow behind any tractor that will pull a three-bottom rig.

Yes you should be able to bolt the eye on the plow. Just make sure the plow has the correct couplers for the latches. They are basically a Tee on the top. Some times the pin going horizontally got broke and farmers would just stick a bolt thru the hole. I believe there is a thread on Plows in the Knowledge base section, and it should have pictures. That would probably answer most of your questions.

It would be interesting to know what that originally came on. Has a degree of adjust-ability to it. Not necessary for a plow, maybe why the high asking price? I have one that is offset, never figured out what it was originally for.

That is interesting, I don't ever remember seeing one like that. Somebody out here in Allis land knows what this one is for.
Yes, the plow one just has the two holes neither is slotted. |

I have wondered why A C did not put a safety on latch of snap coupler.Could have put a spring loaded pin under hook and saved there hitch .Dads plow flipped on D 14 and almost got him .Spring broke on hook. Had safety latches too.
