I was reading last Sunday's Parade magazine from the newspaper. On the second page there is an interview of William H Macy, who plays Frank, the dad, in the show Shameless. He is asked "Who and where is Frank after 9 seasons of the show? His response, and I quote, "I take great pride in being the worst father on TV. At the end of the day, Frank is an optimist. He's a serendipitous-ist and and optimist. He thinks things are going to get better. He's got a wicked sense of humor. He sees the irony in life. He's an instant party wherever he goes. He's smart, he's knowledgeable and he's a rascal!" Wow, except for the father part, doesn't that fit our Shameless to a tee? Had to look it up... Serendipitous is an adjective that describes
accidentally being in the right place at the right time, like bumping
into a good friend in some unusual location, or finding a hundred dollar
bill on the ground. Yup, that's Dale, er, Shameless!

I just wanted to hear what he had to say not what he had to give, we all knows what that is. Suppose to get 6-8 inches overnight, then start the plunge to double digit negative temps. I'm all set. Snow plow guy is paid, food in the fridge, wood ready for the boiler if needed. The boiler will heat the house with out electricity by convection if electricity goes out, have been there and done that. Yep gonna be hectic out there for a few days. Now on with the real Shameless interview.

YEP, that's our boy!! And I MEAN boy!! He's gonna be young forever.....er,,,,,,um,,,,,,ACT like it.
Chas, we're in for it. THEY say we're gonna get 10 to 14" now. It was 8 to 12 but it depends which TV or radio you listen to. BUT, they all agree, it's a 100% chance. So, here comes the white 'pretty' and then the COLD!!! Won't have to worry about anything (food stuffs) spoiling outside. It's gonna be down in the double digits BELOW 0 and I don't even want to know if there is going to be any wind...ARGGGG........I wanna go visit Darrell G..... |
