What is the diameter of the special ball hitch for the All Crops and the Roto baler ?
70515674 plate and 70512010 ball ?

sorry , did not discriminate - did I leave out any other product that uses this hitch?BTW -Did any other farm equipment use this type of hitch?
And thanks - that's what one thought - but it has been a loooong time since we saw one with a critical eye...

tbran, It's my understanding the ASAE had a competition to come up with a universal hitch that was safer than just the clevis/pin type. Allis's design won, and it was supposed to be the new ASAE standard hitch for all pull-type equipment, but no other manufacturers jumped on board.

Allis pull type corn pickers used them also. Dad had the baler, rake and picker and we had 3 balls for them. Only we could never find them, cause he put them in a safe place the previous year and couldn't remember where that was. Boy,l do I miss him!

Yep its an 17/8" ball. My boys used the ball many times to pull the car trailer.
