Nope, LP. Dang truck has at least $500 in newer rubber on it. old 366 starts right up.

14' grain side, looks to be a old Parkhurst body, solid except typical rotted floor, came with the scissor hoist and pump just have to get a PTO for a AT542.

Oh the truck has an Auto in it!! Couple small details, exhaust leak p/s leak and have already replaced rear disc calipers and pads as well wheel seals. Got all new cab lights, old ones ozone crumbling, still have to plug the six bolt holes in cab roof from Reefer walk plate they removed. Did get pivot set up and rear bumper built, taillights are working.

Just curious.  Do you gotta put a hoist on it?  Will you build it or look for a used one?

Is a 86, parts are becoming more scarce than I could imagine. Mufflers are rotted so went to order a pair, GM no longer shows a stock number, NAPA said try a muffler shop, got a pair of generics from CARQUEST. P/S seal kit also from CARQUEST as GM said No Longer Available. Brakes, calipers, rotors all available aftermarket yet had to convert later model rear caliper hoses to fit.

I had a '79 like that with an Allison 545 auto. Had 2 speed axle and air brakes. No problem with the PTO. Put trans into drive to engage the PTO and then shift back into neutral. Step on the gas to raise the hoist. Let your foot off the gas and the hoist stop raising-cool I thought until the load was half off and the hoist started going up by itself. Quick scramble to put the hoist lever into hold position.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed
