The tractor end of the PTO shaft for my bush hog has a slip ring against a spring that holds three steel balls in place to secure the shaft to the tractor. It goes on and the ring snaps in place, but the shaft comes off in operation. Has anyone ran into this problem and did you find a fix? I'm thinking of changing the yoke out to one that uses a bolt to hold it in place.
