How much faster would a WC be in 1st gear if you changed from 14/9-28 to 13/6-36 wheels and tires? Thanks Gary

Going off one of the tire circumference charts the 13.6/36 has about 10% more circumference which should equal speed gain. Just a guess. Tire brands may vary?
Which would move you from 2.5 to 2.75 approximately.

Just getting finished putting standard WC gears in a Hi-Crop WC that has 12.4x36 tires, so can give you a good idea soon. Kip

Thanks guys. I have a pair of 36's and was wondering if I could run them on my 44 WC in local pulls. Speed limit is usually 3 to 3 1/2 mph. Have a great 4th July. Gary
