How do I make new terminals in the socket for the headlights and tail light? The wires need a to be replaced. Can I buy the wires or make them with some solder at the end of the wires?

We offer a complete Headlight repair circuitry for the WD/WD45, WC, & WF. Visit our website. Our P/N is 1504-03A and check it out. Gives you all new circuitry from the H/L switch to the Headlights. New contacts, springs and insulators are included for a complete revamp of the Headlight circuitry.  HTH

napa carries a decent replacement pig tail with spring and isolator made by lighting company Grote!

Hey Steve, the description  says it is for a 6 volt system.  Will it work on a 12 volt system?
