I HAVE BEN  TOLD THE 16000H ENGINES AND THE HD21P ENGINE HAVE MANY  PARTS THAT ARE THE SAME. CAN ANYONE TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS AND WHAT THE PARTS ARE? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Same sleeves. same cylinder heads.  different exhaust manifolds 16000H is non turbo.  different wrist pin sizes.  larger on 21 with turbo.  block the same.  updated oil coolers?  lots of little things the same.
 
earlier 16000 is quite a bit different.  3 valve head.  smaller journals on crank and different rods and pistons.

CAL I HAVE BEEN TOLD ALL 16M WICH I AM TOLD IS THE SAME AS AN HD16DP CAME WITH TURBO. I LOOKED AT APICTURE OF 16 M ON TRACTOR PARTS.COM AND IT HAS A TURBO. I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFO BECAUSE I HAVE AN HD16DP AND THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD IS SET UP FOR TURBO ALTHOUGH THERE IS NOT ONE ON TRACTOR. JUST WONDERING IF ONE WAS THERE, OR MABY THEY WERE AN OPTION. ANYONE SEEN AN HD16DP WITH A TURBO? ANY INFO WELCOMED.

From a neighbour who has a 16DP - no turbo as standard.  They got one as the later 16B series.

Pieces can be swapped - he has the turbo intake ready for a project.

im with Ian.  all 16s were not turbo until Series B in 1970 @ serial #10301
