this is great information. Thank you very much.

I have the original manuals and parts manual but they are original and pretty hard to see. Lots of oil and grease on those pages.

on the threaded end of the shaft just in front of where it threads into the yoke there is a plate with bolts on either side that locks the shaft from turning.  loosen those two bolts and turn the shaft to push front idler out.

Hello group.

I cannot find a good pic in the manual on adjusting the tracks on a HD16DC. It has the bolt type of adjustment an not one you use a grease gun on.

Can anyone just walk me through the steps on adjusting the tracks. I know how much slack I need per the book, 1.5 to 2" at the support roller.
