I just purchased a simplicity 7016 I believe it has a 16hp briggs in it.  any week links on this model I should watch out fer?  I will be going to get it tonight, should have some pics tomorrow.thanks dt

anybody know what # the pto - deck belt number is?  it has a 42" deck.

Nice. These are an incredibly stout machine. Looks to have a newer deck on it. Original number for the belt is 176429, now 2176439SM which lists for $19.85 through Simplicity.  Seems like I remember, if there is a lot of wear on the swinging idler bracket where it contacts the frame, a slightly shorter belt may be required.  Original belt dimensions are 74.1" x  11/32"  but a  1/2" (HA) belt will be adequate for this application.

yep you were right, I got a 80"belt first and was way to big. measured it and got about 74".  got the new belt put it one and worked great. thanks for the help. dt
