Planting organic soybeans with a 2 row Model 50 planter with 30" rows.

I have the manuals and know how to level the planter and change sprockets, but for the life of me, I can't figure out which charts to use and in what order to use them to determine the correct seed spacing.  There doesn't seem to be a logical connection from one chart to the next?!?

Any advice on the general order/use of the plant population charts, etc. would be very much appreciated.

Seed dealer says I should shoot for a plant population of 128,000/acre.  Does that sound right?
