Another poor dead soldier. The exhaust is uncovered so the engine is probably locked up. I am wondering if I found a standard 7000 series doner how hard would it be to swap out the front axle and drop housings to build my own High Clearance. I actually have a need for one. I have also thought about finding a 190 HC and putting the hardware on my 200. Anyone have any advice?  Note the SC stamp on the serial number. I assume that stands for Suger Cane?

As long as the bolts aren't rusted solid, and they likely are, you should have a fairly simple time converting yours over.

I found a 7060 about four hours away that I am going to go and take a look at so I might have a tractor lined up. If it checks out my nice 200 goes down the road. According to AGCO parts books the high clearance front axle is the same. I am thinking if the rear axle size is the same it's all good. Everything down here is rusted, nothing new there:)

Cane farming is pretty intense. Most also rotate soybeans. There is no downtime. Equipment is used hard.

All 7000 and 8000 series have 4'' axles . My 7020 also has 4'' drop axles.

Its not the use thats hard on them its the moisture in the air. Its salty. Every antique tractor in a 100 miles from the gulf coast looks like that.

Thanks Lester. No show stoppers so far on building a high clearance. Now I just have to buy a good running 7000 series tractor and buy a high clearance for the needed parts and get that all home. Then sell a 200 to help finance all this and keep my wife happy. Piece of cake!
