Spent part of the day picking stones on 110 acres of bean ground. After retiring the 715B from digging silo foundations, it became a farm machine. I built 8.5" axle extensions and enough hub for two rims and mounted 16.9 x 28 power shift rims from two D-17 iv's. Twenty years ago we made a quick detach bucket arrangment so with two pins it can either be a forklift, regular dirt bucket, 8' stone fork, or bale spear. This is my third A-C backhoe since 1974.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

I worked that field last fall with a BlueJet Tillage Pro (7 shanks about 10-12" deep).
I usually work the wheat stubble with the BlueJet which is every 3 years. It always brings up a few big stones. Normally I get one or two buckets of 3" plus stones off 25 acres.
Anything that goes throught the fork stays.
