what is a good alternator to buy to put on my h4 and what price can I expect to pay. Been looking on ebay. thanks   norm

Depending on the room you have around the engine area, the most popular Alternator from Automobiles to heavy equipment is the Delco Remy 10 "SI" series Alternator. If you're looking to upgrade from the old external regulated Alternator or Generator to a newer internal regulated Alternator than the "SI" is the one ya want providing like I said you have the room to mount it. Zillions of em' made, easy to purchase. We offer a retrofit kit if interested. Gives you one of our "SI" Alternators along with the wiring, Voltmeter, instructions and a color coded CAD wiring diagram. Its on our website if you want to take a look. HTH
