Need an answer to a totally stupid question. What kind of oil goes into the transmission/torque converter system of the dozer? Just bought it and the guy says its out of oil and doesn't move. Thanks!

Speaking of such things,my 545B wheel loader has Dexron in trnny but seen a website that rebuilds Allisons and they say my model trans uses 15w40 motor oil?!

I use 15w40 in my skid steer but I think it would be too thick for an Aillison unless you were in the tropics.
