People depend upon their touch screens and AI way too much…
If someone loses their phone nowadays they think the earth is about to blow!! What ever happened to listening to your machine to find the problem? |

Along the same lines, friends have a newer John Deere 16 row high speed planter pulled by a 2-year-old 8R John Deere. They do the planting for a large neighboring dairy farm. The dairy got a new Rain-360 unit that irrigates their runoff water leachate from their silage pad area by traveling down the corn rows during the growing season. The irrigation can't use the John Deere GPS system on the corn planter, they had to add a whole complete separate GPS system to the corn planter to talk to the irrigation unit. The only positive I see in this whole mess is the guys that have figured out the tuners and programmers for these pickups and cars. I think they are kind of forced to keep a low profile to keep from drawing attention from the higher ups up things they are doing end up being a little sketchy.
