Does anyone recognize this clutch? I removed it from a D15 series 1 last night. It is heavy. The pieces welded in between the springs are solid steel. I'm just curious if this is something home made and made to fit, or was something that people used for certain applications for some reason. It's toast, and I'm replacing it with a standard off the shelf clutch. ![]() |

I have a couple pressure plates like that. Also the lining on the old clutch is between the Old type fiber lining and cerra metallic. I will have less slip than the fiber and it's easier on the flywheel than a button disc. I have some of those in my NOS parts.

AGCO parts books only shows one pressure plate for gas and diesel. I could see that heavy one being used on the higher compression diesel to smooth it out. Remember, D-14-15's only had a 9 inch clutch and a pretty small diameter (and light-weight) flywheel as compared to a WD-45 with a 10 inch clutch and 50 lbs flywheel.
