A 7020 chassis requires a 7020 engine backplate and probably the flywheel. Front engine plate mounting ears will not reach the side frames, so some fab work will need to be done there as the front plates will not interchange between engine fuel systems and front covers/oil pans, etc.  XT oil pan and oil pump will work.  Water pump lower hose is on the wrong side, and I think the fan centerline will be an inch lower. Some creative lower hose plumbing might solve that or a water pump from an F or G combine. If the XT engine fuel injection pump is actually set at 94 PTO HP you will have about 84 PTO HP in a 7020 chassis.

Thank you for all the information I Definetly don’t want to go to all that trouble I’ll either get this one rebuilt or wait for the right engine to turn up.
