The bail pictured looks like a D14 part. The D15 bail is much wider.

D14, early D15 & early D17all used the narrow bail. After a certain serial number the D15 & D17 tractor came with the WIDE bail. Both styles will interchange across the D14,D15 & D17 tractor excepting the D17IV. The parts books will tell you when the change was made.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

The narrow bail was only used on early D14s.  The wide drawbar bail was used on later D14s (after SN 19000 according to the AGCO parts book).  Both my 1959 and 1960 bone stock original D14s have it.  All D15s use the wide draw bail according to the parts book as well - same part number as later D14s.  Every D15 I have seen has used it.

I don’t have our D15 parts book near me but in D17 parts book the narrow bail prior to sr#24001 is part #227743 And eff sr#24001 use wide bail 232074
In numerical book shows 227743 to use #230600
numerical book then shows
230600 fitting D14,D17
232074 fitting D14,D15,D17

In agco parts book the D14 prior to sr#19000 part #230600/ and eff #19001 part number 232074.
In agco parts book D15 the picture shows narrow but part # is 232074 wide bail.
In agco parts book D17 show picture narrow on prior sr#24001 230600/ and eff sr#24001 wide bail picture part #232074

Think also nos wide 232074 available
