Broke mine today. New handle directions say to put wood glue in handle hole then rake. Wood glue seems a poor choice to me. Any thoughts? Thanks

Water resistant Wood Glue will keep the handle ‘working end’ sealed inside the rake support collar. Not so much to hold, to keep down rot.

I, like you, had doubts about wood glue holding up over time, so I used JB Weld

yeah I used  a knockoff JB Weld.
roughed up the wood first, smeared glue into the hole, lots squeezed out,let it cure for a FULL day.
