 Topic: New Allis Video- featuring 1940s Farming

Hey fellas! I recently put together a small video on 1940s farming. I think it's important to document the past, as these Stories really do mean something to America. It was a way of life back then. What a blessing to be with my grandpa and record the past from the guy who lived it! Hope you enjoy! If you haven't subscribed to my channel, please consider. Thanks for the video. I had to look up were Deford is at It's about 2hrs from where I live. Mailing address is Gregory where there was a AC dealer at a hardware store.

My grandparents farmed a 100 acres mostly cattle and tobacco, but they raised about 10 acres of corn for grinding into feed. They bought a new Allis CA with plow, cultivator and planter in the late 40's and ran it up to the 60's when they traded up to a Massey 165 to handle a baler.

That was very nice and well done. How fortunate you are to have a grand dad still living at that age and memory still remembering. Both my grandpa's were gone by age 9 for me. How I wish my Mom's Dad could have seen me in my career in my 20's. I feel a great deal of my talents came from him.
