Military surplus 3500 generator engine in a D21

   Concrete pumper may remember, but I think (good chance I'm wrong lol) you can use your D21 plate and cover, but pan will be different if you're replacement engine's oil pump is crank driven. I'm not so sure you couldn't put the D21 oil pump in the replacement block as long as the cam has the gear, but since you'll have both cams out, you could stick the D21 original cam back in if it's good. Lots of little differences in these over the years lol!
