I always thought a 180-190 starter weight was 250 lbs. The 170 is a bit narrower at the side frames, so I assume it is a different part ?? Been too long ago to remember for sure.

Finally remembered to look this up in my old collection of advertising literature. The big starter weight was called 280 lbs and the smaller add-ons were 75 lbs each. The 170 starter weight must be the same as a 180-190 because they weigh 280 lbs also.

I am sure it would NOT work but if you used 2-2"x6". Run them from the tailgate of your GMC to the front axle of the tractor. Could you slide the weight over and be the right height to mount the weight?
Nah, CAT forklift would be my tool of choice.
