I dont know exactly what it is either. If i remenber right i think it had something to do with the full length cultivator frame. I remember watching my daddy hornswaggle the front end of our B over that thing

Plough lifting mechanism for a single bottom plough. Likely used for more implements, perhaps, my Dad's is just like that with the plough still attached.

I remember our B having a 1 bottom plow. I never plowed with it. Spent many hours on a D10 in later years breaking land with a 2 bottom plow
