What's the prescribed method to install the rear conveyor chain on my R62? Feeder house not off. Rotor is out. Supposed to be able to do this from bottom floor door. Looks like a challenge. Any one been there done that?

Take the tension off, split chain, lower old chain out bottom, fish new chain in, and connect, then retention. One guy working from below the other from the grain tank. No less than a two person job three is nice. It’s not the end of the world but not fun.

Someone on the outside turning the upper shaft by hand and keeping it from unwinding is the #2 helpers job.
