looking at a 220 the serial number is 1887 new to ac so any help would be great, thanks

That would make it a 1969 .  It has a 426 cubic inch turbo diesel engine. Heavier rear end and final drives than a D21.  All in all a pretty good workhorse tractor.

Is there a place where you get the serial numbers?, i saw on another sight that 1970 was the first year for a 220?
