my niece's husband came and picked up my C yesterday. He was looking for a tractor to piddle around with last year I told him if he came and got it he could have it.The C always was my favorite allis. I bought it for $50 in 1986 put $500 of tires on it and have had it ever since. It's moved from brainerd Mn to Michigan two places in North Dakota and now it went back to brainerd. For 20 years it's was my only tractor. Now it hardly ever got used and was taking up space in the tractor shed. Battery was dead so I turned the crank a couple times and it started right up. I drove it on his trailer and chained it down. I'll have to get my chains back next time I visit. I didn't like his chain so I sent mine along for the ride. Only regret I forgot to get a picture of it leaving. My niece took pictures so I'll get her to send me one.

I think that is the right way to go Dave.

I have a restored 8N that i keep covered up in the barn cus it reminds me of my Pop.

I have decided to give it to my niece Julie who is an outdoors  lady that keeps up a 20 acre homestead and rides a Harley also.  She bought a PowerMaster to keep up memories of her grandad-not much semblance of Pop's 2N that she also grew up on.

She will appreciate the 8N and I will feel comfortable knowing it went to a good final destination as far as I am concerned.
