There is a 8030 for sale near us, but not sure what might be the issue they mention about the transmission chattering? Any thoughts?
For sale 1983 8030 Allis chalmers front wheel assist loader and grapple three point hitch, duals, rebuilt engine, new front tires. Transmission is chattering

And they can't even tell us which transmission it is??....interesting. The fact is, some Power Shift transmissions do have a little chatter in them when starting out a load with HOT oil in certain gears in high range. So, if it is a Power Shift, there may be nothing wrong with it if the problem is there only when trans oil is hot. On the other hand, they might be completely wrong in their description of the problem. |
