Question for Bill Long: During the War, B's and WC's produced didn't have the electrical systems and came with steel wheels.  After the war and when components became available, were the electrical components available as a update kit or were these items only available individually? Also, if available as a kit, did it include the lights?

Bill,  Sorry I missed this post.
In answer to your question yes, the WWII B - C - WC came through with no starters and lights and steel wheels.  As stated in other posts they also included some other items such as cast valve covers and cast oil pans.  After the war I do not remember having special "kits" to put on the electrical items.  We just took them from parts.  The steel wheels were removed and rubber mounted   The steel wheel parts were junked.
Hope this finds you well.
Regards to all who put together "Coming Home"  It was a masterful show
Good Luck!
