Is the coupler free to move? Maybe its froze on the shaft. Can you post a picture of the coupler? We may see something in the picture that will help.

You probably have a sheared roll pin. I had that happen at Hutch in 2015. The linage will swing free, but nothing will happen in the back. Do you have a manual? If so, it shows it on page 80 of the regular SP-100 manual.
Also, since you said it's different from what you're used to...remember the 100 is pretty different from any other color combine, as far as mechanics and general operation. You must be stopped and the clutch disengaged to engaged the separator.
If you have any other questions, don't be afraid to ask! When I walked onto the grounds at Hutch in 2015, I had never ran an All-Crop, much less a 100. Granted, I'd read through regular and Super 100 manuals, but I quickly found you learn the most by actually being around and operating the combine. Give it a little while and you'll know that machine like the back of you hand!

I know what you mean about backing them! Takes two people to park them, really.
Sent you a PM with my e-mail.
Thanks
P.S.- I see in your signature now all the All-Crops you have! Sounds like you just need a early High Speed/Camel back and a Super 100 and you'll have the whole lineup!

Here are the pics! Note the home-brew power steering! Neat!
Speaking of ingenuity, I've never seen an auger swivel like this one. Has to be another farmer mod to accommodate the bin extension.

Note in the above pic- it seems the PS pump is driven off the bin unloader drive idler. Must be a double pulley?

Thanks Creston for posting the pics of my machine, yes that power steering is some good old farming ingenuity but makes it steer like a Cadillac. I'm keen to see how it steers with a loaded bin. Is that auger swivel factory or another farmer fix?

I'd appreciate it if you could get some more detailed pics of the power steering setup. I'm curious as to how the built it all.
From the factory, the auger would fold out for unloading, then for transport or storage you could either fold it straight up, or pull the hinge pin at the bottom and lay it across the top of the bin. However, with the homemade bin extension, they could no longer lay it across the bin, so the farmer must have fixed the latch system somehow so he could swivel the auger instead.

Here is how it's supposed to store when folded back. To unload then, you have to jump up and grab the bottom end of the auger, pull it down, put the hinge pin in, pull on the release chain, and carefully move it out to unload position. Then attach the 2 braces and put 2 small bolts at the bottom of the auger flange where it meets the bin.
That's not too big of a hassle, but that's why I like the Super 100's better. The auger on them is 2 pieces and splits in the middle.

Creston just seeing your earlier comment yes id like one of those early camel backs but scarce up here but I do know an old collector up here that has a Super 100 stowed away in his back shed in immaculate condition! Been working on him a few years to convince to sell it!

I've seen 4 camel backs down here. All have been "out to pasture" for decades, and one is full of bullet holes. Lol
There is one that is (to me) half decent, and I might get it one day, when I have more barn room and get a place of my own. I imagine I could have it cutting after a month or two of work.

Keep working on the guy with the Super 100! Never know when he'll finally break down and sell it! It sounds like a nice machine.
Are you coming to Hutch this year? If so, you'll see mine there.

That'll be fun!! Make sure to get pics and/or videos!
Also, some detailed pics of the power steering setup would be nice!
Here are a couple pics of my Super 100, since you can't make it to Hutch. I'm also ready to get out and cut with it. I've never ran it before, as we just got it last August.
I understand with young'uns runnin around, it would be hard to make that long of a trip. It's a bit of a stretch for me too, driving up from Oklahoma. We break it into a 2 day trip. It's about 800 miles one way.
They'll be grown up before you know it, then you can get them in on the Allis combines as well!

Did some tinkering on my 100 and the swivel looks factory cause it does have a scour clean and won't be able to lay across the bin. This swivel allows it to lay across the separator.
