So I was going to clean out the air filter on my G the other day, but when I took it apart, it didn't have any element in it, which I am assuming is not how it is supposed to be. This was the only thing I could find that looks close. Can anybody tell me if this will work? Or is there something else I need to get? Thanks!

The G owner's manual that I have on line mentions back washing the air cleaner element, but the G parts book I have in this computer doesn't show a part number for it.

I'd think that the element might be big to fit the housing for the G since it was the smallest engine AC used for field tractors. But that one might need to be trimmed down to get it go in the G housing. The construction for G and B-C air filters looks to be about the same and the specs for both are 1/2 pint of oil in the G, B, C, CA shop manual I have posted on line.

Well, maybe I will try getting that one and trimming it down if nobody else has a better idea. I don't really like not having an air filter.
