Hooking up aftermarket radio in 7045

   Tractor came with no radio or speakers....has the metal keeper bracket a aftermarket radio goes into like a car or truck. My question is how do I hook it up? Anybody done this before....if not where can I get a radio to put in here?

	I put a Pioneer cd player in my 7010. I ordered it from Crutchfield I think it cost around $65, it's not hard to install wires are marked and comes with directions. Youll have to take the roof off.

	There are usually two power wires: a +12v and an ignition wire. You can tie those together if you wish, but the radio will lose its memory whenever you turn the ignition off. Otherwise tie the +12 to the battery circuit and the ignition wire to the ignition circuit. Fuse per instructions. If you have four speakers, wire per instructions. If you have two speakers you can sometimes tie the front left to the rear left and the front right to the rear right. Observe polarity or you will end up shorting the audio driver. Otherwise don't use the rear speaker wires. If you have one speaker, do not tie the front left and right speaker wires together. Use only one speaker wire pair and insulate the ends of the others.

	Alright thanks guys appreciate the help. I can turn a wrench but audio instalation is not my thing.

	Just to simplify things, there should be two red (power) wires.(One will probably have a stripe on it) Both of these wires should be fused! One of the power wires is to maintain the station presets and clock when the switch is off. That wire should be wired to a constant power source (one that is live even when the switch is off). The other power wire should be wired to the switch so the radio goes off when you shut the tractor off. Black will be the ground for the radio. It is probably set up for four speakers with a different wire for each. If you are only using two speakers, you want to find the left and right front speaker wires. You will also need to ground the other wire coming from the speaker. Unused wires should be taped off, so they don't ground out. If you google the make and model of the radio, you may be able to find a schematic and other useful information.
