I am looking at getting an aftermarket hydraulic pump for the G tractor. I may have found a way to do it, but I need to know the crank diameter. I am looking at getting a keyed shaft coupler either bought or made to go from crankshaft to pump. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, |

The diameter of the keyed portion (where the pulley mounts) is 1-1/4". I'm not picturing what yo are trying to do. I assume you are trying to drive the pump at the pulley end of the crankshaft.
Many pumps drive off an adapter bolted to the crankshaft pulley. There are already two tapped holes in the pulley. May need to machine the pulley face to true it up, but would it be possible bolt an adapter to the pulley? Need some flexibility in the drive line. Maybe a LoveJoy coupler. Anything other than a ridged coupling. Be interested in what you end up with. Kent |
