Fella's  I am currently in the process of replacing the clutch on a 1941 Wc and i was wondering if anyone out there could tell me if I could use the 9 spring heavier duty clutch that i believe was on the later model wd45's? I was thinking this would be an improvement over the stock 6 spring that I removed. The only thing else I also wondered was if this can be done, would the pilot bearing also go in instead of the pilot "bushing" that it currently has?  I know that some of you guys have experience in this and would very much appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks so much, sincerely Hoss

Did the same thing with my WD, the 9 spring setup came from Rick Corder, bolts up just fine. If you go through Rick he will make whatever kind of disc you want- fully lined, 4/6 button, spring, solid, etc. He also includes the correct pilot and throwout bearings. Be sure to get your flywheel face turned too.
