Been tidying up the D-15II , lights, gauges, fixing leaks etc. Today was tune up time, Think these parts will make it run like new?? LOL. I just pulled the string on the NOS Delco points box and opened it up. Only part I haven't been able to source is old stock is the rotors.

Nice clean looking tractor, Butch. Great to have the NOS parts - I have a sleeve of the AC45 sparks....for the rest I have to rely on NAPA.

Here is another pic for ya Copyrite. Pretty decent ole D-15, not too nice to use but nice enough to show off when Allis friends come by. Some work going on behind the dash on gauges and wiring cleaned out a large mouse nest, Grrr

D15 is one of my favorite tractors. A great nimble powerful enough for a lot of chores. Tracy

Yup. With the side panels on, the dash area is a mouse nest magnet. Did the same on my D14. Cleaned out a nest and a bunch of half-eaten acorns, so mine was a combo diner and rooming house!

Yep, that's why I always remove one of those shields from each of my tractors in the winter, them mice no longer get a good hiding place. I am another D15 lover and picked up a Series I diesel with narrow front in the fall (thanks Calvin!) - I love that tight turning radius! It's currently not as pretty as yours, but I hope to fix that starting this coming fall. ![]() |
