I did not know they were orange? I figured they were just painted after installation?
Some pictures and pricing and lengths and fitting sizes and for what tractors, might just get you some business?? Regards, Chris |

I have only seen orange hydraulic lines on the 400 loader I had. Never seen them on tractors (aside from the rigid steel ones).

Disk, 2000 plows, field cultivator, 330 & 600 planters all had orange hoses. To my memory tractors never had orange hoses. Put a LOT of them together over the years.

Could you give the size and specs (psi rating) of the hose, and price per foot? I'd be interested in some. Thank you.

I might need some on my next project, already bought half the hoses for my disc. I'm just gonna coat them with a few coats of paint. It takes a lot of footage for a 2600. There was still a few originals on it with the orange rubber hose.

I was looking at some of those hoses on my disc think they say dayco daylon on them.
Definitely orange and they for sure don't like heat around them where the rubber hydraulic hoses will tolerate a little from a torch.

Does color matter? I know it does with coaxial cable. Orange indicates that it is plenum grade. Does it make any difference with hose? The color can indicate what type of gas or liquid the hose carries, I suppose.

The Orange hose would most likely be thermoplastic hose. SAE 100R7 and 100R8 are for medium pressure hydraulics. A little higher cost per foot.
