Planning a little bit ahead here, but it'll be here before ya know it. I want to find a nice "allis chalmers" themed electric train set for my grandson for Christmas. I guess I am open to any suggestions or ideas. Would probably give preference to any vendors who support this site that might sell them. I'm not to fussy about what scale it is. Thanks for any ideas. Darrel

There is one advertised on page 51 of the latest issue of Antique Power.  It's HO scale and is by Bradford Exchange.

Get the train from outback. Bradford is a pita to deal with. They quit sending me the set after #4 and won't send the rest when called. Said they had no record of my purchase and they were out of the next one in the series. Now I see I can get them from outback to continue the set!

On further thought I think we may have missed one vital part. Price. Would give a young grandson a train that costs $70 per car? He may be looking for something a little cheaper? The train that has been discussed is a good set but may be a little out of the price range for a young kid!
